Configure Support Parameters

This is Support Configuration Panel, where you can import , export , reset ,and rename your support profiles.

Z Lift Height: The height distance between the lowest point of the model and the platform.



Support Settings#

You can edit Top, Middle, Bottomand Raft of your supports respectively.

Top#

Middle#

Bottom#

Platform Touch ShapeSelection of support shape in contact with printing platform
Touch Diameter(mm)Diameter dimension of support in contact area with printing platform

Model Contact ShapeThe contact shape of the lower end of the support in contact with the model when the bottom of the support falls on the model
Contact Diameter(mm)The diameter of the lower part of the support in contact with the model when the bottom of the support falls on the model
Contact Depth(mm)Depth dimension of the lower part of the support in contact with the model when the bottom of the support falls on the model
Contact PointThe number of contact points at the lower end of the support in contact with the model when the bottom of the support falls on the model

Raft#

Raft ShapeSelection Of The Shape Of Bottom Valve In Contact With Printing Platform
Raft Area Ratio(%)Sets The Area Scale Of The Bottom Valve, Which Is The Ratio Of The Total Area Of The Bottom Valve Relative To The Total Area Projected By The Model To The Printing Platform
Raft Thickness(mm)The Thickness Of The Bottom Valve
Raft Height(mm)Height Dimension Of Bottom Valve
Raft Slope(°)Tilt Angle Between Bottom Valve Side And Printing Platform

Auto/Manual Support#

Cross Width (mm):When manually adding supports, whether adjacent supports add the maximum distance value of the cross structure, when the distance between adjacent supports exceeds this value, the cross structure is not added.



Cross Start Hight (mm):When the support height exceeds this value, a cross structure will be added between adjacent supports.



Density(%):When automatically adding supports, the density of supports.



Angle (°):The model is allowed to add support to the maximum tilt angle, which is the angle between the model surface and the platform.



note

To improve the accuracy of distances between supports, the Density(%) parameter in CHITUBOX Basic was replaced by the Middle Distance(mm) in CHITUBOX Pro.

Tree support#

Double-click the sphere in edit support mode to generate tree support.

CHITUBOX Basic V1.7.0 and subsequent versions support this function.
